Oh, Gaea, I am sorry this is happening to you but glad you are speaking out. It does indeed stink hugely. BTW, I love those swirly carved beads. Maybe I should go make some and could you please tell me what clay and glaze you are using so that I don't have to waste anytime getting the same look ;-)
