Strange. I don't remember moving to India?

Occasionally I do a google image search just to see where my images pop up. Sometimes they pop up in the strangest places...

I don't remember moving to India or having my items bought by this company...

and yet here are images that I took of my jewelry and beads on this website. I emailed them to remove them. They have not responded. It is a long distance call, but I'm considering making it. I would love to hear what they have to say. It just goes to show you have no idea what happens when you "put it out there".

That is creepy. You should leave your info on the "Contact Us" page and see if they do. Wouldn't it be weird if they had American customer service reps?

That is so strange! I don't get why anyone would do that. How do you do a image search anyway?

I tried the "Contact Us" and it gave me an error page message!

Hi Erin! You can click on the "Images" button at the top left of any google search page. Pretty cool!

OK! Joelle! You HAVE to google image search your name! Too funny!

Gaea, these Asian companies go on line; copy photos or purchase pieces and copy and duplicate and sell them. We have seen Marsha Neal knockoffs and other major designers replicated at shows.
Marsha's work was seen at Tucson last year. Some times they come to shows and ask to buy the whole booth. It is rampant; the flamework people are copied constantly.
If you have webstats or some other system to track your blogs and web site; you can see when you are "visited" and where the business is located etc.It is very upsetting to see " your designs"
across the aisle and being sold at half the price. Joan Tucker

Hi Joan,
Maybe it's a good thing I don't get out of the house more often. I'd probably be in a constant state of rage! Upsetting is putting it mildly. Unbelievable!

Gaea, It makes me angry too;it makes the whole process pure commerce not art; like steal someone else's creativity and make the item cheap.

My mentor used to say always be thinking up your next design.. stay one ahead.
You have such an array of work and such class, it would be hard for them to keep up. Keep your new designs hidden until launch.. might also help.

If I see those pieces at any shows and they are not yours I will buy one and get a card from the vendor for you. Take care, Joan Tucker
