I found this great
origami pouch pattern on etsy and have been sending out smaller orders in them! They were super easy and fun to make. My problem begins in the paper isle though and not being able to decide which pack of paper to pick because they all look so great! Maybe a custom paper! OH! I will get so sucked into the paper isle!!! A few of them got embellished with beads and charms for Valentines Day gift packaging!

These are adorable!
I wonder if jewelry will hold up in them. did you buy the tute?
I did! It was a bargain at 99 cents! The kids want to make big ones to wear as hats! HA! with a bit of tissue and put in a padded mailer they are pretty sturdy. If you use thicker paper they are more ridged, but the basic pattern paper I used from Target was just fine!
the packaging is adorable.. i'm a sucker for that...
Hi Chrissy,
I am a sucker too! I just love paper goods and a great paper pattern! I've resisted the paper isle for long enough (did you hear the dam breaking?)!
I have been making my own version of an origami paper gift package for about a year. I even sell them in 12 and 24 quantities. My customers love them and it saves them on postage costs because they are lighter than a box. Good luck.
I like the idea of having them all different. It keeps things interesting for you while you are packaging up orders. These are super cute.
Adorable and I love the different papers! I had been making fabric origami boxes a while back to send larger orders in (then realized I was spending as much time on the boxes as the items in them!). Those are super cute though :)
