Toot! Toot!
I have to stop and toot my horn for my husband Robert. He is a rather artistic fellow who is quite shy about tooting his own horn! He has been sketching ideas for ages and is now ready to share his (his words) "ugly little flowers" with the world. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, not molded but created with the genuine, arms-dirty-to-the-elbows (and maybe further) love of creating…

New Friends.
My friend Bridget who is wonderful and supportive person just happened to be wearing a mermaid necklace I designed while attending a mermaid painting art birthday party hosted by mermaid loving artist Eco Shumaker (go take a look! You won't be disappointed!) Eco asked about the necklace and asked if I could make another…
and then her friend Debbie who owns this awesome shop, asked about Eco's new mermaid necklace and it snowballed from there. You never know who is going to see what and when. The universe is kinda cool like that. Yay! So if you are in the downtown Ventura area ever, please stop by and see Eco's paintings and my jewelry all at Plum Gifts!

Getting Ready...
It has been so long since I've done an event, can't even remember the last one. Plum Gifts in Ventura and Eco Shumaker were so lovely to invite me to participate at their Art Walk Ventura space. Being by the sea, it seems a perfect fit for Eco's amazing mermaid paintings and Plum Gifts has a wonderful ocean theme. How could I not be inspired, it is summer after all! I will be in crazy art mode for several weeks…. It will be good!

Dream Boat...
